Presentations were geared towards a wide range of audience from general Internet users to content developers. Suggested topics of interest included, but were not limited to: Tamil and the Internet Tamil and the World Wide Web (WWW) Character set issues on the Internet and WWW Standardization Keyboard Input Methods Language processing issues with Tamil Education on the Internet Library and archival concerns Business-related topics Case studies Sessions The two day Symposium provided the following type of sessions: Keynote presentations Technical presentations Open discussion sessions Discussion Forum - A Summary Report The 2 hour-long discussion session on the second day of the symposium came to a fruitful ending. The discussion panel (a total of 11 members) was led by Sujatha and included N. Anbarasan, S Kuppuswami, ST Nandasara, Kuppuswamy Kalyanasundaram, Malaan, Harold Schiffman, Vasu Renganathan, Muthelilan Murasu Nedumaran, Naa Govindasamy and Tan Tin Wee.
